Meet Kym Ali, MSN, RN
Founder & CEO, ZENOBIA
Kym Ali, MSN, RN, is the Founder and CEO of ZENOBIA, an intelligence and transformation company developing human-centered AI solutions for healthcare, enterprise, and government.
Before moving into AI, Kym spent years at the bedside as a registered nurse, including work as a travel nurse across the United States, where she cared for patients from diverse cultural and language backgrounds and saw firsthand how communication barriers can affect understanding, trust, and outcomes.
That experience became even more meaningful during her international healthcare work in Qatar. While supporting multilingual patient populations, Kym helped implement patient education in Arabic for women managing gestational diabetes. In the first year, the program contributed to a 33% reduction in gestational diabetes and reinforced a principle that continues to shape her work today.
When people receive information in a way they can understand, they are better equipped to act on it.
Kym holds a Master of Science in Nursing with a focus in nursing education and is MIT-trained in AI Strategy and Leadership. Today, she brings together clinical insight, adult learning, leadership development, AI strategy, and technology implementation to help organizations design intelligent systems that improve access, strengthen communication, and extend human capacity.
Her current healthcare focus is multilingual AI diabetic patient education for patients with limited English proficiency. Through conversational digital humans, AI-enabled workflows, and human-centered implementation, Kym is working to help close education and communication gaps while giving healthcare teams scalable ways to support more patients.
Beyond healthcare, her work spans AI strategy, governance, automation, workforce adoption, leadership development, and enterprise implementation.
Kym has worked with organizations including Clark Construction, Lockheed Martin, and BAE Systems, serves as an AI instructor for the National Contract Management Association, and has been featured by Forbes and Fox 5 DC.
Her work is grounded in one belief.
Technology should make it easier for people to understand, decide, and move forward.
